The history
When Labros Restaurant was built in 1889, Vouliagmeni was a very remote destination for the Athenians. The area was considered a meeting point for gourmet lovers of the capital since the time of Charilaos Trikoupis.

Irrefutable witness of this long lived history is the marble slab that is embedded in the hall of the restaurant which is a jewel and treasure at the same time for us. In this slab it is mentioned that in 1889, when George I’ was the king and Charilaos Trikoupis the prime minister, the first café- restaurant was built in Vouliagmeni, Vari, municipality of Kropia.
Luck and God’s will, but also the foresight of Loukas Labrou, safeguarded this historical plate from many adventures and dangers, during a very unstable period of wars and the Greek Occupation.
Our history is vast and it is our main priority to preserve our roots. Meanwhile, we keep looking forward in order to evolve and offer the best dining experience to our loving guests.
